Health, Safety and Environmental Policy

Fosroc SCC recognizes the importance of Safety, Health, Welfare, and Environmental management in the successful conduct of its business and aims to operate WITHOUT ACCIDENTS and WITHOUT CAUSING HARM to people or the environment.

All personnel must take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others while at work, protect the environment, and cooperate with the Company on all matters related to safety.

We will achieve this by:

• Ensuring the active participation of every member of the Company in promoting, achieving, and maintaining the highest standards of accident prevention, and applying a risk-based approach to control risks to the level of “As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP)”.

• Complying with relevant legal regulations and the health, safety, and environmental requirements of accreditation bodies.

• Providing and maintaining safe and healthy working conditions, equipment, and systems of work for all employees, and ensuring adequate training and supervision where necessary.

• Conducting frequent internal and third-party audits to benchmark, monitor, and ensure continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental performance at our workplaces.

• Promoting a positive safety culture and encouraging ownership by empowering everyone, regardless of their position within the company, to stop any task or operation they believe to be unsafe or likely to cause injury and/or damage to the environment or equipment.

• Investigating incidents transparently and communicating the findings.

• Reducing our environmental impact during the planning, design, and implementation stages; focusing on minimizing our carbon footprint; reducing environmental incidents; developing products with lower environmental impact; promoting recycling; and reducing waste disposal and energy consumption.

• Developing and maintaining awareness among employees and suppliers regarding environmental sustainability, and communicating environmental legislation and regulatory changes through toolbox talks and company communications.

This policy, along with the organization and related arrangements, will be reviewed and updated at appropriate intervals. Any revisions will be issued by the Company and communicated to all employees.
